“ Had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. We opted to dine in and enjoyed the seaside view. Ordered mini cod and chips as well as nuggets and chips, both simple yet tasty. Overall, I give it a 5-star rating for its welcoming atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. “ 20 years ago I owned one of the UK's best chip shops, multiple awards, really busy etc etc. consequently I am extremely picky about chip shops. Fish and chips are easy to do badly and hard work to do really well consistently. My expectations for a chippy on a pier were frankly poor, but these guys nailed it. Really good quality fish, cooked to order with a crispy light batter. The chips were just a bit too crispy for my liking, but that's being picky to be honest. These guys are worth a detour for the fish and chips alone, highly recommended. ”
